General Exhibition Volunteer
Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi: 3 - 20 November 2011

We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated people who are keen to help out at one of Sydney’s most exciting cultural events.
As the exhibition site is large, it is important that we have a number of general exhibition volunteers on site each day to provide on site staff presence and support for any visitors who might need it. Please note that volunteers may be required to work outdoors.

Key Tasks

• Conducting visitor surveys
• Data entry
• Staffing the Catalogue Marquee
• Assisting Site Crew with maintenance
• Gallery crowd control and cloak room
• Greeting visitors
• Answering visitor queries
• Provide an on site staff presence

Essential qualities

• Friendly and approachable;
• Well presented; and
• Sense of humour.

Commitment

At least 2-3 shifts over the exhibition is desirable but not essential; and
able to attend shift times of 8.00am – 1.30pm and/or 1.00pm – 6.30pm.
