Site Crew Volunteer
Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi: 3 - 20 November 2011

We are looking for enthusiastic and hands-on people who are keen to help out at one of Sydney's most exciting cultural events and to assist our Site Crew Team during the install, de-install, as well as the exhibition.

Days of work

Installation: Monday 31 October - Wednesday 2 November
Exhibition: Thursday 3 November - Sunday 20 November
De-Installation: Monday 21 November - Thursday 24 November

Tasks

• Manning the entrance to the site and alerting the Site Manager and Site Crew Team to artists/others entering the exhibition site by walkie talkie;
• General assistance with Site Crew needs;
• Assisting with the install of sculptures when required;
• Interacting and providing information with the other exhibition staff, volunteers and visitors to the exhibition; and
• Working outdoors, meeting new people and having fun in the process.
   

Desired skills

• Energetic, hands on people who like to give things a go, enjoy working outdoors and understand the term “the show must go on”;
• Experience or a keen interest in the arts and/or event management;
