Bookings for the ALCOA School Education Program at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe are now closed! Group bookings for the Education Program closed on Friday 17th February, and we are now looking forward to seeing you all down on Cottesloe beach very soon!
Our Program returns to Cottesloe this year with a few additional innovations to compliment our annual highlights, including the Artist-run Sculpture Workshops, Focus Tours and Artists Talks (secondary only).
Our Focus Tours (previously 'Exhibition Tours') now offer teachers more booking options with regards to duration and educational resources.
The ever popular Artist-run Workshops provide students of all ages with an excellent opportunity to interact directly with exhibiting artists, generate discussion on artists' practice and develop their own art-making skills and techniques.
Secondary students also have the opportunity to meet and engage with an exhibiting artist through the Artist Spotlight Talks, during which Q&A discussion will focus on the artist's work and practice in the context of the exhibition.

SELF GUIDED SCHOOL GROUPS
School groups are encouraged to visit the exhibition independently by way of conducting a self guided tour. Teachers are advised to take advantage of the resources available on our website to assist in excursion management planning and to provide supplementary information on selected artists and artworks featured in the exhibition.
Schools are encouraged to contact Sculpture by the Sea prior to the excursion date if planning an independent visit so that we are aware of potential groups/numbers on any given day. Please contact us on +61 2 8399 0233 if you are planning a self guided excursion.
