Disabled Access

Disabled Access Mid Week
It is suggested that the best time to access the exhibition for people with disabilities is mid week. This is especially due to the possibility that, if you call in advance to our site office on 02 8399 0233, we might be able to have members of the site team assist with managing stairs.

The best places to get wheel chair access to the exhibition are down the driveway ramp at Tamarama Beach on Pacific Drive or the corner of Fletcher Street and Mark's Lane. These two locations enable reasonable access to significant sections of the exhibition without having to manage stairs. Should you wish to access these locations please contact our site office on 02 8399 0233 so staff can be advised accordingly. Once drop offs have been made all vehicles must then move and find parking on the street, where normal parking restrictions will continue to operate.

Disabled Access Weekend
The nature of the exhibition changes considerably on the weekend. Firstly, the work load of our site team is significantly increased so we are almost certainly unable to assist people with managing stairs, unless we happen to be on the spot.

It is also important to note that we close Notts Avneue, Fletcher Street, Kenneth Street and Mark's Lane from 10am-6pm on each Saturday and Sunday of the exhibition. If you call our office in advance on 8399 0233 and numbers allow, we should be able to list you car registration number to enable you to park in these streets, where normal parking restrictions will continue to operate.

Disabled Access & Park Areas

Please note that the grass park areas of the exhibition do not have pathways so people in wheel chairs should take this into account when planning their visits.

Disabled Access for Groups
Please call the site office on 8399 0233 if you plan to have groups of disabled people visiting the exhibition we will do our utmost to assist.

Café Facilities along the Coastal Walk

There are two cafes along the coastal walk where you can pick up a delightful range of snacks and refreshments. Stop in at the Marks Park Café in the hub of the exhibition or the Tamarama Café and relax whilst overlooking Tamarama Beach.

Local Bars & Restaurants
