Celebrating 25 Years of the Bett Gallery, Hobart

14-Jul-2011

Our close friend Dick Bett is celebrating 25 years of the Bett Gallery in Hobart this year with an exhibition of 25 artists opening this week.

Dick was the Curator of Sculpture by the Sea, Tasman Peninsula in 1998 and 2001 and Ephemeral Art @ the Invisible Lodge on Freycinet Peninsula (www.freycinet.com.au) in 2006 and 2008 thanks to Joan Masterman of Freycinet Experience, one of Australia’s most special boutique eco-lodges. These were wonderful idealistic shows that were great fun but not financially realistic – still we enjoyed working with Dick and creating something special.
