Cottesloe 2012 Tactile Tours

15-Mar-2012

Over 600 bookings have been made for Sculpture by the Sea Tactile Tours making it the biggest year yet. People with disability and their carers have been treated to one hour tours guided by experienced DADAA and Art Gallery of WA guides. Tours have increased accessibility to the exhibition through touch and the use of beach wheelchairs. "Elegant forms, some questioning norms, Sculpture by the Sea is the place to be" - a tour participant's poetic response to the experience.
